MYF Logistics LLC is proud to announce the successful completion of the Veteran Institute Procurement (VIP) START Program, a rigorous training and certification program designed to bolster the ability of Veteran-owned businesses to secure and manage government contracts.
On December 12, 2024, MYF Logistics LLC joined an elite group of 50 businesses from 19 states to graduate from the VIP START Program.
“Completing the VIP START Program has empowered MYF Logistics LLC with the tools and strategies to compete effectively in the federal contracting space. This milestone underscores our commitment to excellence, growth, and service to both military and civilian agencies,” said Quentin Brown, CEO of MYF Logistics LLC.
As the first program of its kind in the nation, VIP START is led by industry and government subject matter experts. Its mission is to equip participants with hands-on, market-driven instruction, fostering best practices in areas such as legal compliance, marketing, proposal writing, and operations management.
“We are honored to give back to the men and women who served our country by providing them with the tools they need to succeed as government contractors,” said Barbara Ashe, President of the Montgomery County Chamber Community Foundation. “We hope this training fosters their success as businesses and employers.”
The VIP START certification is fully funded by the Montgomery County Chamber Community Foundation and supported by partners like the SBA, Lockheed Martin, and the State of Maryland.
